Is the co-founder of Sara-timur Sdn Bhd and has been the Executive Director of Sara-Timur Sdn Bhd since September 1999. Prior to this, he was the Senior Area Engineer for Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd (Pasir Gudang, Johor). He was later transferred to Shell Timur Sdn Bhd (Kuching) as the Senior Engineer for the state of Sarawak where he was involved in the construction, installation, maintenance and upgrading of oil storage and dispensing facilities such as storage tanks, petrol stations, depots, pumps and other company own properties. Mr Huong’s career began in January 1987 as the Trainee Engineer for Zaidun Leeng Sdn Bhd followed by becoming the Project Engineer for the ITM Campus (Petra Jaya, Kuching) development with Syarikat Pembinaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd. The following year, Mr Huong became the Project Engineer for Spekon Sdn Bhd’s ground water exploration and micro piling projects. Mr Huong received a Bachelor of Engineering (Second Class Upper) in Civil Engineering from University Technology Malaysia.
